Botanical Name: Malus 'Snowdrift'
An exceptionally showy ornamental tree that's bathed in white flowers in spring and colorful orange-red fruit in fall, spreading habit of growth, hardy; makes a wonderful feature tree in the landscape, needs well-drained soil and full sun.
Snowdrift Flowering Crab will grow to be about 15 feet tall at maturity, with a spread of 20 feet. It has a low canopy with a typical clearance of 4 feet from the ground, and is suitable for planting under power lines. It grows at a medium rate.
This tree should only be grown in full sunlight.
